An amazing glimpse of nature for free and without the concerns of bikes or pets. The parking lot is small so you would want to get there early. The parking is diagonal only.
The preserve boasts over twenty miles of trails and from what we could tell, the trails are marked exquisitely; matching the provided maps precisely. There are remnants of old stone walls around the park and views of the nearby river.
The walk is relatively easy in regards to difficulty of terrain and most anyone could do it, including families with young children. It can be muddy so we would suggest considering the weather around the time of travel and prepare attire accordingly.
Get out there and enjoy.
