Avalon is a private Park that is open to the public. It has trails of varying lengths that wind through or around the park. You can either park by the street nearing the entrance or on a dirt road around the back end of the park.

Mainly you walk through dirt or grass trails lined by trees or tall grass of some kind.

The yellow trail of 2.2 miles is the longest trail around the perimeter but you can also choose to mix and match trails to change up the views or lengths.

The trails consist of minor hills and even an art sphere where you can write something to someone in Heaven and place it inside.

Being usually quiet, it’s a great place to sit and get to experience nature. In addition to the walks, there’s a pond in front, that was once the site of a mill, that is a great place to sit and watch birds like ducks and geese and swans amongst others.

Just passed the pond and up some steps of stone, is a labyrinth that could be fun to let kids walk around while you sit on one of the benches to overlook the pond.
